Service

We love to serve our neighbors both near and far. At VRBC we have a dual focus of service to the local community and service to the world. 

Service to the Local Community

We are partnering wtih several community organizations to help minister to those in need in Poughkeepsie. Right now we are involved in projects with LoveInc.,  Dutchess County Outreach, and CareNet.  Through these partnerships, we are able to feed, clothe, and make sure kids have basic necessities (and Christmas presents!), year round. 

 

Service to the World

Samartian's Purse/Operation Christmas Child is a ministry that reaches people all over the globe to share the love and good new of Jesus. Through the annual Shoe Box ministry, medical ministries, and other important emphasies, SP/OCC minsters children and adults all around the world. Vassar Road supports this ministry year round with various missions projects, including Operation Christmas Child.  (Click HERE to see what we are collecting this month!)
