Teaching and Learning the Faith
Each Sunday, VRBC offers Bible Study classes at 9:00 AM for all ages.
In order to effectively live out our lives a Christian in our culture - we need to have a deep understanding of what we believe and how we live in light of that. To help disciple each other, we have developed a Christian Education program that aims to equip each member of our church to be well-rounded believers. Courses are offered quarterly and include:
-Basic Christian Beliefs
-How to Study your Bible
- Introduction to the New Testament
- Introduction to the Old Testament
- Evangelism, Missions, and Apologetics
- Christian History
- Plus others coming soon!
We think that the purposeful study of the Scriptures and the faith is important because:
- Jesus tells us to (Matthew 28:18-20)
- We grow closer to God and increase the joy we find in Him (Psalm 16:11)
- We are better equiped for good works (2 Timothy 3:15-17)
